Lynchburg Va
Lynchburg is a scenic city located in the eastern foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia. The area has an extensive history beginning with its founding on the James River in the 1760's by John Lynch as "Lynch's Ferry."

The Old Court House in Lynchburg is now a museum. The brick work you see was done a couple of years ago by McGann Masonry. A friend of mine Ed Funk (a master mason) helped on the job that extends down three blocks.

The Iconic Texas Tavern
Recently the owner of the Texas Tavern passed away. His son is taking up the mantle of running this establishment that boasts ten thousand people served ten at at a time. Many find the food memorable and this small establishment has gained world wide fame. They are famous for their hots (hot dogs) and westerns (hamburger with egg). And now their legend will continue.
